DESCRIPTION
Comandon VSOP cognac are made in limited edition and individually numbered bottles. These are one-time production and once it is drunk it is gone – there is no more. The typical production yields about 3000 bottles and sometimes less.
The average age of this VSOP is well above the minimum age requirement. These VSOP batches always exemplify the balance between youth, fruitiness and bright flavors, and maturity with soft and deep round flavors normally expected from much older cognacs.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE
A nose of sweet, dried apricot, candied figs, and honey butter.
PALATE
Complex aromas of dried fruits and spices, with very old port flavors and lingering nuttiness.
FINISH
Silky and medium-weight, it finishes smooth but strong with a balance of fruits and spices.
